Minnesota United Announces Season Ticket Pricing for Inaugural Major League Soccer Season

SAINT PAUL, Minn.-- Minnesota United announced today season ticket pricing for its inaugural season in Major League Soccer. United will play the 2017 season at the University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium.

"We are proud to offer our season ticket holders a variety of affordable options for season tickets," said Minnesota United President, Nick Rogers. "It is important to us that our gameday experience remains accessible to all our fans and the pricing we are announcing today reflects that priority. Being a part of our inaugural season in Major League Soccer is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and we cannot wait for our fans to pack the stadium and support our club."

There are twelve season ticket price categories for fans to choose from which fluctuate based on date of purchase. Current season ticket packages start as low as $335 for an 18 match schedule - which translates to just over $18 per match - to $2,790 for the lower club level. There are a variety of seating options ranging from the passionate supporters section behind the east goal to an exclusive student section available to all collegiate students in Minnesota with a valid student ID, as well as many family-friendly options.

The lower bowl of TCF Bank Stadium will be sold for all Minnesota United home matches, the capacity of the lower bowl for soccer is 21,895. For select matches United will open the entire stadium.

In addition to the raucous supporters section, Minnesota United will offer a variety of premium seating options at TCF Bank Stadium, including 14-plus person suites, 4-6 person loge boxes, the pitchside club and more. These premium options will offer exclusive first-class amenities, a dedicated host and an incredible gameday experience.

Minnesota United was officially granted an MLS expansion franchise in March of 2015. The club announced that it would join MLS for the 2017 season this August in a community celebration at CHS Field.

Since the August announcement, more than 9,000 season ticket deposits have been sold. The club announced that it will be providing special recognition for the first 11,842 season ticket buyers for the 2017 season, one for each lake in Minnesota. More information on this special program will be coming next week.

By becoming a Minnesota United season ticket holder, fans will be granted special benefits not available to the general public. Inaugural season ticket holders will receive: * Recognition in the new midway stadium * Priority for purchasing tickets to friendlies and playoff matches * Exclusive season ticket holder events * Savings on per match cost of tickets

Those who have already placed season ticket deposits will begin to receive information over the next two weeks from the club on seat selection and payment options.
