Daniel Bang...Right winger Daniel Bang posted five points last week, earning an assist in each game and then adding a goal on Saturday night in Chicago. Bang now has tied a team high with points in five straight games and he has earned at least a point in seven of his past eight contests 2g-6a)
A native of Kista, Sweden, Bang is tied for fifth on the team in scoring with ten points on three goals and seven assists. He has spent the past two seasons with AIK of the Swedish Elite League where he hast accumulated 30 points (13g-17a) in a combined 90 games.
HOME AGAIN...After three weeks and seven games, the Admirals finally return home to the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Friday night when they host the Chicago Wolves in an Amtrak Rivalry game at 7:00 pm. Milwaukee completed their season-long road trip with a winning record, going 3-2-1-1 on the swing. The Admirals earned five of six points on the weekend, which included a win over Grand Rapids on Sunday that snapped the Griffins eight-game winning streak.

MAGNUS THE MAGNIFICENT...Admirals netminder Magnus Hellberg turned aside a season-best 30 shots, including 12 in the third period, and stopped five of the six shooters he faced last night to earn the win over Chicago. This was just the fifth game of the season for Hellberg and it was his first shoot-out appearance in North America. The Uppsala, Sweden native upped his record to 3-0 with the victory as well.

TRANSACTIONS...The Admirals have reassigned defenseman Charles-Olivier Roussel and forward Josh Shalla to the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL. Roussel made his Admirals debut on November 17 in Oklahoma City where he totaled ten PIMs and a +1 rating. Shalla picked up his first AHL points with a pair of assists in the team's 5-4 shoot-out loss to Peoria on Friday night.

WORKING OVERTIME...Three times on their road swing the Admirals needed extra time to determine the winner, including back-to-back shoot-outs on Friday night in Peoria and Saturday in Chicago. It was the first consecutive games that ended in shootouts for the Admirals since October 15 and 21 of last season. In addition, the last seven overtime/shoot-out games for the Ads have all taken place on the road, dating back to April 8 of last season. The last home game to go to extra time was a 2-1 shoot-out loss to Rockford on April 1, 2011.
