Miller Loaned To Milwaukee

PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the San Jose Sharks and the Worcester Sharks, have announced that defenseman Gerard Miller has agreed to terms on a professional try-out offer with the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Miller, 25, has four goals and 22 points and a team-high plus-18 rating in 38 games season between the RoadRunners and Cincinnati Cyclones. The fourth-year professional and Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y. native was acquired from Cincinnati on March 5 in exchange for goaltender Cody Rudkowsky, and has collected four assists in six games since his arrival. Miller has twice been loaned to the American Hockey League this season spending a two-game stint with the Hamilton Bulldogs and skating in one contest with the Binghamton Senators.

The RoadRunners open a four-game road trip at 5:05 p.m. Sunday when they visit the Las Vegas Wranglers at the Orleans Arena. Catch all the action live at www.phxroadrunners.com beginning with "RoadRunners Countdown" at 4:50 p.m.

Phoenix returns to US Airways Center for their final home-stand of the regular season when they welcome the Las Vegas Wranglers at 7:11 p.m. Tuesday, April 1.

The RoadRunners currently are tied with the Stockton Thunder for the seventh seed in the National Conference playoff race with 53 points apiece. Their magic number for clinching a second straight berth in the Kelly Cup Playoffs is 11.
