
Mill Rats Lose Shootout at the "A's" Corral in OT

(Brampton, ON): The Brampton A's pick up an overtime win with just seconds left on the clock, 126-124, after Cavell Johnson tips in Cedric Moodie's miss. The first quarter ended with Brampton up 4 over Saint John. However, at the end of half-time Saint John had managed to finish with a 2 point lead.
There was a lot of back and forth lead changes throughout the third. Saint John ended the third with a 1 point lead. The action did not stop in the fourth as the lead continued to change hands up to 5 times down to the last 16 seconds on the clock. The A's successfully tied the game at 113 and forced OT.
Brampton held the lead in overtime with a step back 3 by A's Cedric Moodie. Levett tied it up for Saint John with just 2 seconds left on the clock. The clock ran out and Saint John fell to A's 126-124.
Anthony Anderson led the Mill Rats with 35 points and 7 rebounds. Tyrone Levett followed with 6 assists and 27 points and Jermaine Blackburn for 20. Jordan Hamilton led the A's with 22 points.
The Mill Rats drop to 19-13 on the season while the A's improve 20-10.
Saint John returns to Harbour Station on Monday February 10th at 7PM for a makeup game against the Moncton Miracles.
