(Peterborough, ON) - Peterborough Petes Assistant Coach Mike Duco has accepted a position with the Okanagan Hockey Group.
Duco will be the inaugural Head Coach of the Okanagan Hockey Ontario U18 AAA team to be based out of Whitby, Ontario. He will remain with the Petes in a player development position.
"On behalf of the Petes organization - our players, coaches, staff, and Board of Directors - I'd like to congratulate Mike on earning this opportunity with the Okanagan Hockey Group," commented Petes General Manager Mike Oke. "We are proud to have provided him with a platform in Peterborough to continue his development as a coach, and are pleased that he'll be remaining with our club in a player development role."
