Mike Beck Joins BC Knights Ownership Group

Battle Creek, Michigan-The Battle Creek Knights professional basketball team is proud to announce that local businessman Mike Beck of HBC Contracting, has joined the team's ownership group. Mike is now a partner with the current Knights ownership group of Scott Niecko (The Party Stores), James King (King Home Medical), and Mike Lee (Mel's All Sport).

Mike Beck stated, "I am very proud to be joining the Battle Creek Knights organization. They have proven that they are a first-class, winning franchise that is providing fun and exciting family based entertainment for the entire Battle Creek area. Alicia (wife) and I love going to the Knights games at the Kellogg Arena with our family and friends and we always have a great time. Corey, Brenner (sons 19 & 9) and Avery (daughter 9) really like the fast paced action and in game entertainment the Knights provide. This is another great opportunity to be an active member of the community, and that has always been extremely important to me."

Mike Beck's business, HBC Contracting (www.hbc-contracting.com), has corporate offices located in both Springfield and Lansing, MI. HBC is growing their portfolio of satisfied commercial clients, whether they are working on renovation projects or contracting new builds. HBC has made its' presence felt in the Battle Creek area for that last thirteen years by being a major sponsor of amateur and professional sports teams. Mike has also shown he is a dedicated philanthropist by his involvement with Community Inclusive Recreation, American Cancer Society, the Mike Furrey Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and Battle Creek Health System's Cancer Care Center. Mike currently serves on the NorthPointe Woods Board of Directors, the Oaklawn Hospital Development Council and the Emmett Township Zoning Board of Appeals.
