
Mika Kruse Reaches 50 Caps

On Saturday, April 23rd Mika Kruse became the tenth player in Major League Rugby to take the pitch for 50 matches.
From Fresno California, Kruse began playing rugby at 12 years old and went on to play for Bullard High School where he became a High School All-American.
He came through the Glendale Raptors Academy to earn an opening weekend appearance for the Raptors in 2018. After two seasons with Colorado, Kruse was traded from the LA Giltinis to the Utah Warriors in 2021. He re-signed with the Warriors for a second season in 2022 and has tallied 17 career tries in Major League Rugby.

Major League Rugby is honoring the first 50 players to reach 50 caps, and their role in building the legacy of MLR. The latest of the first eight players to reach 50 caps for MLR includes Nick Boyer of the Houston SaberCat, Moni Tongauiha and JP du Plessis of NOLA Gold and Lance Williams of the Utah Warriors.
