Fort Myers Mighty Mussels News Release
The Mighty Mussels visit Jupiter Tuesday for a six-game series with the Hammerheads (MIA). LHP Jaylen Nowlin will start the series opener, opposed by LHP Juan Diaz.
All six games will be broadcast on the Mighty Mussels Baseball Network here. Tuesday's coverage begins at 6:15 p.m.
MUSSELS START LONG TRIP TO JUPITER
Fort Myers hits the road for 12 consecutive games at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Jupiter Tuesday. The Mussels are coming off a wild, close series with the Bradenton Marauders. The Marauders took the final three games of the series with high-scoring margins of 9-6 and 12-10 over the weekend.
HELLO, HAMMERHEADS!
The Mussels and Hammerheads meet for the first time since April 17 Tuesday, with both teams' rosters looking very different. Jupiter's roster features five of the Marlins' top 13 prospects:

COMMANDING THE STRIKE ZONE
The Mighty Mussels have done a great job of commanding the strike zone on both sides of the ball in 2022. Entering Tuesday, Fort Myers' hitters are second in Florida State League in walks (393) and first on-base percentage (.340) by a wide margin. The Mussels' pitchers have walked the fewest batters in the circuit (272), helping them post the best WHIP (1.17).
