Flint, MI - Olympic Bronze Medalist and Flint native Andre Dirrell will be featured in his first hometown fight on Friday Night, December 30, 2005 at Perani Arena & Event Center in Flint, Michigan. Andre's brother Anthony Dirrell will also be on the card that night. On September 4, 2004 Andre was given the key to the City of Flint after winning the bronze medal at the Athens Olympics.
The Dirrell Brothers are expected to be in Flint on Friday night to drop the ceremonial first puck at the Flint Generals home game against Quad City. Both Andre and Anthony Dirrell are undefeated as professional boxers.
