
Michigan Warriors defeat Janesville in playoff opener 4-2

Michigan Warriors News Release
Mitch Wedding (1) scored unassisted at the 5:46 mark of the 3rd period as he broke through four Jets defenders putting the puck past goaltender Logan Halladay to score what would be the game-winning goal.
TJ Stuntz (1) scored into an empty Janesville net with .2 seconds left on the clock to seal a Warriors victory. Michigan also got goals from AJ Marcinek (1) and Jon Farkas (1).
The Jets goal scorers were Brandon Schultz (1) and Drew Callin (1). Trevor Gorsuch stopped 30 Janesville shots to pick up the victory, while Logan Halladay stopped 20 Warriors shots in a losing effort.
The Warriors and Jets play game #2 of the Best of Five game series Saturday night at Perani Arena with a 7PM faceoff.
