October 6, 2002 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Manitoba Moose News Release
Today the Manitoba Moose announced that they have released goaltender Alfie Michaud (mee-SHOH) from his training camp tryout.
Michaud, 25, was on the Moose training camp roster as of September 25 and did not see any pre-season action during Manitoba's 2002 pre-season schedule.
This now leaves the Moose with 26 players still on the training camp roster. The team will continue to practice this week for the start of their second AHL regular season beginning on Friday, October 11 versus the Worcester IceCats. Manitoba will have scheduled practice Monday through Thursday this week at the Winnipeg Arena from 10 a.m. to noon. The Moose will play a pre-season game against the Manitoba Bisons at Max Bell Centre on Tuesday, October 8 at 7:30 p.m.
Manitoba Moose season tickets, mini-packs and individual tickets for all October home dates are on sale now. For more information, contact the Moose ticket office at (204) 987-PUCK (7825).
