Dayton Silverbacks News Release
In a less than well kept secret, the Miami Valley Silverbacks made it official this past Thursday by announcing that they had signed two key players to anchor their team, in Steve Bellisari and Sam Crenshaw. Bellisari, a 6'4", 220 lb. QB from Ohio State, who ranks 3rd ALL TIME in total offense with 6,496 for the Buckeyes(1998-2001), will supply an offensive punch both through the air, and on the ground as well. Crenshaw, a 6'4", 225 lb. WR/LB from Penn State University, adds a tremendous amount of versatility with his ability to play both ways at a high level. Crenshaw was an All State player in both football and basketball, for Rayen HS in Youngstown, Ohio, and was a Prep All-American in football in 1997.
