Miami FC Opens 2009 Pre-Season Camp

Miami, March 24, 2009- Miami FC opens its pre-season soccer camp tomorrow, Wednesday, March 25th at Tropical Park Stadium. Approximately 30 to 35 players will participate in the camp while being observed by the Miami FC coaching staff.
"The pre-season camp serves as an observation ground for the technical staff. The coaching staff will trim down the number of players from the pre-season camp to approximately 20-22 players for the beginning of the season. We are looking forward to having a very competitive team this year," commented Zinho, Miami FC head coach.
Right from the get-go, Miami FC fans will recognize familiar faces confirmed for the 2009 season, such as Jarryd Goldberg, Cristiano Dias, and Walter Ramirez.
Miami FC has confirmed three friendly matches: against the Montreal Impact on Sunday, March 29th, against Barry University on April 1st, and against Lynn University, April 4th. Other friendlies are still to be confirmed.
In the upcoming days, Miami FC will also be hosting open player tryouts. Details will be available at www.miamifc.com as soon as plans are confirmed.
