Three minutes later, Orlando Bueso initiated a string of passes that led to Alen Marcina's second goal and Paulo Jr..'s second assist.

"Sometimes it's hard to bounce back from a hard defeat, like the one we suffered against the Battery in the second round of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. I'm very happy with the character the team showed today and the type of soccer we are playing. I am looking forward to getting positive results this Saturday against Cleveland," said General Manager Luiz Muzzi

In the 90th minute, the City Stars were awarded a penalty kick after a Nicky Torres handball. Pat Hannigan dove to the right side denying Cleveland a golden opportunity to tie the game.
