
Miami FC begins US Open Cup participation

Miami, FL- Miami FC departed today for Dallas, Texas where they will participate in their first game ever in the US Open Cup. The game will be tomorrow, Wednesday, June 28.
The South Floridian Squad will be facing Roma FC, of the USASA from the North Texas Premier Soccer Association, in the second round of the Cup. The game will be held at the University of Texas at Dallas at 7:30 PM CT. Roma FC advanced by beating the Laredo Heat 4-2 in penalty kicks in the first round of the tournament.
If Miami FC advances to the third round of the tournament, they will be facing Chivas USA of the MLS on July 12 at the University of California at Santa Barbara.
