
Miami FC anxious to take on Charleston Battery on Sunday at Tropucal Park Stadium

Miami, FL- After a great tie in the international friendly against Municipal on Wednesday Night, the South Floridian squad is ready to resume their play-off hunt in the First Division of the USL, when they host the Charleston Battery this Sunday, August 13, at Tropical Park. The game will begin promptly at 4:00 PM.
For this match, team doctor, Jan Pieter Hommen has cleared to play two key players after evaluating them at the Orthopaedic Institute at Mercy Hospital. Goalkeeper Eric Kronberg and forward Romario are both good to go.
Romario is the second leading goal scorer in the league with 12 goals.
Guatemalan forward Mario Rodriguez, and Haitian defenders Stephane Guillaume and Jamil Jean-Jaques will have added motivation in this match as they have all been called to their national teams to play in the Guatemala-Haiti friendly to be held Wednesday, August 16, at 8:00 PM at Tropical Park Stadium.
A special event will be held prior to Miami FC's match on Sunday. Starting at 1:30 to 3:00 PM, both parents and children will have the opportunity to participate in a clinic as part of "The Parent Academy mission" of helping parents to become full partners in their children's education.
The event will be held at the South side of Tropical Park Stadium. The clinic is open to students of all ages from the Miami-Dade County Public Schools and it will be coached by BFut (Insitituto Brasileiro de Futebol) and will also have the participation of some of the players of your Miami FC.
