(Edmonton) Two important weapons in the Eskimos offensive attack have been named to the CFL All-Star team: slotback Fred Stamps and running back Jerome Messam .

A veteran of five CFL seasons, Stamps had a team leading 82 receptions and 8 touchdowns and shared top spot for receiving yards (1,153) with Adarius Bowman. It's the third consecutive year that Stamps has gone over the 1,000 yds receiving mark. The native of New Orleans, Louisiana was a CFL All-Star in 2009, a three time CFL Western Division All-Star (2009, '10, '11), and two time CFLPA All-Star (2009, '10)

Running back Jerome Messam, the CFL Western Division finalist for the Gibson's Finest Most Outstanding Canadian Player and CFL Western Division All-Star, continues to earn accolades for his remarkable sophomore CFL season. Messam posted 1,057 yards this season to become the first Canadian player since Sean Millington in 2000 to crack the 1,000+ yard rushing plateau. Messam was a five-time winner of the weekly Gibson's Finest Award for the top Canadian player and was twice named the Canadian Player of the Month. Messam suffered a season ending knee injury in Edmonton 's 33 - 19 win over Calgary in last week's CFL Western Semi-Final.

The All-Stars were selected by fans, members of the Football Reporters of Canada ( FRC ) and CFL Head Coaches.

The Eskimos will face the BC Lions in the CFL Western Division Final this Sunday in Vancouver . The winner will advance to the 2011 Grey Cup at BC Place Stadium on November 27th.
