Merriex Earns Second OursportsCentral.com Player of the Week Honors

Cedar Rapids, IA (May 20, 2004) The Cedar Rapids River Raiders along with OursportsCentral.com announce today that Bingo Merriex has been selected for a second time as the OursportsCentral.com player of the week for the week of May 10 – May 16.

The 6-foot-9, 230- pound forward averaged 20 points 14 rebounds per game during the week, playing two away games and averaging 41 minutes a game against the Dodge City Legend and the Kansas Cagerz This places Merriex second over all in total rebounds (10.5rbpg) and third (4.2 rbpg) on offensive rebounds in the USBL standings as of April 19th.
