Cedar Rapids, IA (April 27, 2004) The Cedar Rapids River Raiders along with OursportsCentral.com announce today that Bingo Merriex has been selected for the OursportsCentral.com player of the week for the week of April 19 - April 25.

The 6-foot-9, 230- pound forward averaged 18 points 13 rebounds per game during the week, playing one away overtime game against the Dodge City Legend and finalizing the week against St. Louis Skyhawks. This places Merriex fourth over all in total rebounds and tied for third on offensive rebounds in the USBL standings as of April 25th.
