
Mercury to host Daddy's Date Night on Friday, June 23

The Phoenix Mercury will host a post-Father's Day celebration on Friday, June 23 when it presents Daddy's Date Night. Fathers and their daughters can watch the Mercury take on the Indiana Fever at 7 p.m. from a special section in US Airways Center. The event will be hosted by John Gambadoro from XTRA Sports 910 AM.
WHEN: Friday, June 23
TIME: Tip-off is 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.
WHERE: U.S. Airways Center
THE TEAM: WNBA All-Star Diana Taurasi leads the Mercury and the WNBA in scoring. The 6-0 guard is averaging 25.3 points an outing. In last Friday's win over the East-leading Connecticut Sun, Taurasi posted a career-high 35 points, eclipsing her previous high of 32 points which she turned in last Tuesday in Los Angeles.
