Memphis, TENN. -- Memphis 901 FC announced on Friday the club has signed goalkeeper Taylor Bailey, pending league and federation approval.

"Taylor is a quality young goalkeeper with a lot of upside," Assistant Sporting Director Caleb Patterson-Sewell said. "He is a very good shot stopper and is very good with his feet. We look forward to Taylor competing with Tyler and Aren this season in what will be a strong group of goalkeepers."

The Greeneville, Tennessee, native played collegiately at Nova Southeastern University before joining Oakland Roots SC in 2020. Since then, Bailey also served loan stints at Forward Madison FC and San Diego Loyal SC with seven clean sheets in 13 appearances.

Bailey joins veteran Tyler Deric and second-year keeper Aren Seeger in the stable of Beale Street Boy shot stoppers.

Memphis 901 FC opens the 2024 regular season at AutoZone Park on March 9 as they host Las Vegas Lights FC. Season tickets are available now at www.memphis901fc.com..
