Memphis 901 FC Exercises 2023 Option for Captain Leston Paul

Memphis, Tenn. - Memphis 901 FC announced on Wednesday that the club will exercise the one-year team option for midfielder Leston Paul, pending league and federation approval.
"We are delighted to have Leston with us for the 2023 season," Assistant Sporting Director Caleb Patterson-Sewell said. "Outside of his outstanding on field season this year, his leadership as club captain is invaluable for us. We look forward to Leston leading our group to success in 2023."
Paul served as captain in 29 matches for 901 FC during the 2022 season, tallying seven assists with 83% passing accuracy. The Trinadad and Tobago international has logged over 6,500 minutes on the pitch for Memphis 901 FC as the lone roster member that has been with the club since its first season in 2019.
