ST. LOUIS, Missouri - Despite playing with just 10 players for over 60 minutes of action, Memphis 901 FC earned a point at Saint Louis FC with a 0-0 draw Tuesday night in St. Louis, Mo.

Cam Lindley was shown a red card in the 27th minute for 901 FC (4-10-7, 19 pts), but the club buckled down and played stout defense in securing the draw against 10th-place Saint Louis (6-7-7, 25 pts).

901 FC has earned a point in eight of its last 12 matches since the start of May. The match at Saint Louis continued a stretch of five-straight games against teams currently in playoff contention and seven-of-nine overall.

Memphis goalkeeper Jeff Caldwell made two saves and helped organize a solid defense of Abdi Mohamed, Marc Burch, Liam Doyle, and Wes Charpie. Doyle, playing his first match after arriving yesterday after his time with Nashville SC, had seven clearances and two interceptions. Mohamed had three clearances of his own, and Burch had a pair.

Pierre Da Silva, also playing his first match for 901 FC, had a solid shot attempt in the 16th minute, and Ewan Grandison ripped one just high of goal from 35 yards out in the 73rd minute.

Caldwell and the Memphis defense withstood five chances by Saint Louis FC in the final 15 minutes plus stoppage time, but the defense held tight and secured the point with the scoreless draw.

901 FC now returns to AutoZone Park for its only home match in August, hosting North Carolina FC on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. After that, Memphis plays four-straight road matches until next returning to Downtown Memphis on Sept. 7.
