
Medford Shuts out Corvallis in Final Game OfSeason

CORVALLIS, OR - The Medford Rogues and Corvallis Knights faced off with a double header at Goss Stadium to end the 2015 season for the Rogues. After being shut out in game one, 1-0, the Rogues bounced back in game two and held the Knights scoreless, 5-0.
Kohl Hostert got the start for the Rogues in game one. Hostert pitched the complete, 7-inning game and gave up one run on five hits. He struck out one and finishes the season with a 2.75 ERA.
In game two against the Knights, the Rogues were strong from the start and held the Knights scoreless in the 5-0 win. Nathan Etheridge was strong at the plate going 2-for-3 with one RBI, finishing the season with a .278 batting average. Tony Roque also had a good night at the plate going 1-for-3 with one RBI and one run. Roque's final batting average is at a healthy .272.
D.J. Wilson got the start for the Rogues and went six innings, giving up five hits with no runs. He struck out four and walked one. Wilson finishes the season with a 1.16 ERA. Justin Mulvaney pitched the final inning for the Rogues, giving up two hits and striking out two. Mulvaney finishes the season with an ERA below zero, at .89.
The game two shutout against the Knights was the first time in Medford history that they have held Corvallis scoreless. The Rogues finish the season with a season record of 25-27.
