McNeill Invited to World Junior Selection Camp

Prince Albert SK - Hockey Canada announced today that Prince Albert Raiders captain Mark McNeill has been invited to Team Canada's World Junior Selection Camp, starting on December 11th in Calgary.

McNeill leads the Raiders in assists, with 23, and points, with 35, through the first 30 games of the season. The Edmonton, Alberta product is currently riding a 6-game point streak, scoring 4 goals and 4 assists in the last half-dozen contests, and has hit the score sheet in 11 of the last 12 games.

The 6'2", 210-pound forward appeared in both Super Series games for Team WHL, scoring a shootout goal in their 1-0 win over Russia in the fifth game of the series.

An 18th overall draft pick by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2011, McNeill has previously dawned the Red and White, representing Team Pacific at the 2010 Under-17 Hockey Challenge, where he recorded 3 points in 5 games.
