IRVINE, Calif. (February 9, 2016) - After a breakout rookie season in 2015, defender Jack McCracken will return to Orange County Blues FC after the club picked up his option for 2016.

"I'm excited to be back and playing for the OC Blues again in 2016," said McCracken. "I'm looking forward to building on the success from last year and taking it to another level."

A native of Manhattan Beach, CA, McCracken was signed by the OC Blues after a standout collegiate career at Loyola Marymount University. As the starting right fullback for most of the season, McCracken led all rookies in minutes played in 2015.

"Jack was a very important part of our back line last season," said Head Coach and General Manager Oliver Wyss. "We see a lot of potential in him and we are excited to bring him back for 2016."

It was the strong defense of the OC Blues that helped the team finish the regular season in first place of the USL Western Conference. McCracken helped the Blues earn a franchise-best eight shutouts last season. On the offensive side, he also notched two assists.

2016 Season Memberships and individual game tickets are now available. For more information, please call 949-333-0418 or email seats@ocbluesfc.com.
