Mcallister's goal exorcises Devils in OT

BILOXI, MS - The Mississippi Sea Wolves extended their winning streak to four as they defeated the Trenton Devils by the score of 2-1 in overtime at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum on Sunday.

Mississippi got on the board midway through the first period. With the Sea Wolves on the power play, Marek Kvapil snuck out of the right wing corner and fired a shot of the pad of Trenton goaltender Dave Caruso. The rebound went to Jason Tejchma, who fired it into the net for his 12th goal of the season at 12:15 of the first period. Trenton evened the score at 4:58 of the second period when Colin Pepperall found the rebound of Brad Mills' shot and put it past Mississippi's Ryan Munce at 4:58.

Mississippi killed off an early third period power play, and the game tied until Marek Kvapil fed the puck out of the right wing corner to Kyle McAllister, who fired it through Caruso's legs for the game winner 1:37 into overtime.

Ryan Munce made 34 saves to earn his fourth consecutive win, and the Sea Wolves were 1-for-3 on the power play.
