BILOXI, MS (January 6, 2008) - Colin Pepperall continued his dominant performance with an equalizing tally in the third, but the Mississippi Sea Wolves' Ryan Munce proved again why he belonged in the AHL, stonewalling Trenton to a 2-1 overtime loss.

Pepperall found the back of the net 4:58 into the second, when a loose puck settled in front of him in the crease. Brad Mills and Matt Cohen had created pressure on the Mississippi goal with multiple point-blank shots, resulting in a carom towards the veteran winger. Pepperall's tally tied the game and gave the Devils a chance to earn their fifth point in four games.

Ryan Munce foiled the Devils yet again with 34 saves, continuing his almost impossibly strong performance for the week. The Devils peppered the AHL send-down with over a dozen high-quality chances, but Munce turned aside all but one.

Dave Caruso flashed brilliance in the net for Trenton, stopping 21 of 23 shots, turning away most of the few opportunities his defenders allowed.

Kyle McAllister won it in overtime for the Sea Wolves, firing through the five-hole 1:37 into the extra frame. Jason Tejchma started the scoring when an odd bounce found his stick in the Devils' crease at 12:14 in the first. The attacker wasted no time in sending it to the back of the net.

The Trenton Devils continue their longest road trip of the season with a match against the Dayton Bombers Friday, January 11th at 7:00pm EST at the Nutter Center in Dayton, OH. Tune into WTSR 91.3 or go online to www.trentondevils.com and listen or watch live courtesy of B2 Networks.
