
Mayor Dyer to Drop Puck Friday Night

ORLANDO - Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer will drop the ceremonial puck Friday when the first-place Seals host the Jacksonville Barracudas at 7:30 p.m. at TD Waterhouse Centre. Atlantic Coast Hockey League commissioner Jim Riggs also will be on hand to present the Commissioner's Cup to Mayor Dyer, Seals owners David and Ruth Waronker and the Seals team for winning the inaugural regular-season championship.
The Seals (41[2]-15), who wrapped up the regular-season title and the top seed in the playoffs two weeks ago, play their final two home games of the regular season Friday against Jacksonville and Sunday at 2 p.m. versus Macon. Orlando will host first-round playoff games Thursday, March 20 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, March 22 at 7:30 p.m.
Pucks, Pom-Poms & Four Packs!
Pom-poms meet pucks this weekend when the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders come to Orlando to perform at the Seals' final two games of the regular season. The Dolphins Cheerleaders will be performing live during the intermissions and signing autographs at the Seals games on Friday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, March 16 at 2 p.m.
The Sexy Savannah from REAL Radio's "Monsters of the Mid-day" also will be at Friday's game signing autographs, and ACHL commissioner Jim Riggs will present the Commissioner's Cup to the regular-season champion Orlando Seals. The Seals will be wearing special St. Patrick's Day jerseys, which will be available for auction throughout the game. Winners will be awarded the jerseys by the players following the game.
Friday's game is another Seals Four Pack special where fans can get four tickets, four Seals hats, four hot dogs and four sodas for just $52. The first 5,000 fans at the game will receive the final installment of the Seals five-part trading card set courtesy of International Minute Press, Red Rocket Inc., and REAL Radio 104.1. Guns & Hoses Game to Benefit Special Olympics
The Orlando Seals Hockey Club will be sponsoring the Fifth Annual Guns & Hoses Charity Game to benefit the Special Olympics at 10 a.m. on Sunday, March 16 before the Seals take on the Macon Trax at 2 p.m. for their final home game of the regular season. On Sunday, Central Florida law enforcement officers and firefighters will square off to raise money for a great cause.

Seals to Celebrate St. Pat's by Giving Fans 'Shirts Off Their Backs'
The Seals will wear special St. Patrick's Day jerseys on Friday, March 14 when they host Jacksonville at 7:30 p.m. Throughout the game, fans can bid on their favorite players' jerseys outside of Section 115. Following the game, the winning bidders will be called to the ice where the players will take off their jerseys and hand them directly to the winners.
Sealvester Bobblehead Headlines 'Fan Appreciation Day'
The first 2,500 fans in attendance at the Sunday, March 16 game will receive a Sealvester bobblehead doll to kick off 'Fan Appreciation Day.' The Seals mascot is the third and final bobblehead doll giveaway of the season. Zac Boyer and Coach Stan Drulia were the first two in the series.
Fans will get the opportunity to win unique Seals prizes throughout the game and to attend a post-game team autograph session. Following the game, the annual team awards will be presented to the players. This season's honors will include "Brevard Pain Management's" Team MVP, "Access Able Technologies" Leading Scorer, "Anthony Squiteri Plumbing" 7th Player Award, "Competition Bowling & Trophy" Plus-Minus Leader, Most Improved Player and Fan of the Year.
Orlando to Host Playoff Games March 20th & 22nd
The Seals will play at TD Waterhouse Centre at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, and at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, in the first round of the inaugural President's Cup playoffs. The Seals (41(2)-15), who own the top seed in the playoffs, will play the fourth-place finishers in a best-of-five series in the opening round. The 2003 ACHL playoffs will consist of two rounds of best-of-five series with Nos. 1 vs. 4 and Nos. 2 vs. 3 squaring off in the first round.
