Macon Mayhem News Release
HUNTSVILLE, AL- The Macon Mayhem offense was stymied by the Huntsville Havoc on Saturday, as they fell on the road, 4-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Mayhem struggled to get any production started offensively against Huntsville, as they found themselves down 4-0 midway through the third period. Huntsville's Kyle Sharkey tallied a short-handed goal to take a 1-0 lead in the first period. Shawn Bates then scored a pair of goals in the second period three minutes apart to make it 3-0. Just over halfway through the final period, Huntsville scored their second short-handed goal of the game to take a four-goal lead. Stathis Soumelidis answered just minutes later to make it 4-1, but that is all the offense they could muster, as they fell 4-1 on Saturday.
NOTABLE STATS
