May Date Change Finalizes Lions Schedule

COLUMBUS, GA, December 21 -- The Columbus Lions have moved their first of two 2012 home games against the rival Albany Panthers to Sunday, May 6 at 4:00 p.m. from the originally announced Saturday, May 5 date, at the request of the Columbus Civic Center, on the verge of booking a big concert name that weekend.
With the latest date shift, the Lions' Professional Indoor League (PIFL) schedule is now final and official. Including all currently scheduled indoor football events, including preseason and postseason, here is the official 2012 schedule, all times Eastern (home games in blue):
Sunday, February 12 - 4th Annual Alabama-Georgia High School Indoor Classic, 3:00 p.m.
Sunday, February 12 - 1st Military Indoor Classic (Ft. Benning Doughboys vs. Camp Lejeune Marines), 7:00 p.m. SINGLE ADMISSION FOR BOTH GAMES
Sunday, March 4 - Preseason Exhibition, Lions vs. Team James of Atlanta (6:00 p.m.)
Saturday, March 10 - Lions at Richmond Raiders, 7:00 p.m., Richmond (VA) Coliseum
Saturday, March 17 - Lions vs. Knoxville Nighthawks (7:30 p.m.)
