ROCHESTER- The Seacoast Mavericks defeated the Martha's Vineyard Sharks 13-8 on Sunday Night at Bert George Field.

Kevin Stenhouse (University of Rhode Island) improved his average to .425 on the season while going 2-3 in on the evening. He doubled in the second inning and hit a solo shot in the fourth inning. Zach Berger (UMass Lowell) also impressed with his first homerun of the season. Berger hit a one run shot over the left field wall in the fourth inning.

Doug Willey (Franklin Pierce University) recorded his second win of the year for the Seacoast Mavericks. He allowed two runs over two innings. Willey struck out two, walked none and gave up three hits in the process.

Ryan Walker (College of Charleston) held the Martha's Vineyard Sharks hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

The Sharks Jack Colton (Harvard) went a perfect 4-4 on the evening that included a 2 RBI homer in the top of the eighth. Eric Jensen (Wheaton) performed well, going 2-for-5 on the evening with 2 RBI's.

Matthew Cook (Northeastern University) struggled in the early going. Cook was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just 1.1 innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
