"OPERATION ADOPTION"
We are kicking off the first annual "Operation Adoption" to lead up to the Saturday, May 14th home game against the Rome Renegades.
May is Military Appreciation Month and the Maulers have adopted the 908th Reserve Airlift Wing at Maxwell AFB. We are asking businesses and individuals to sponsor a group of 10 for $100. In return for their contribution the business or individual will receive one free sideline ticket and their name listed in the game day program.
The 908th Reserve Airlift Wing is in its second year of activation in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom at Maxwell AFB. There are over 1,200 members assigned to the 908th with many of them living here in Montgomery.
"We really appreciate the time and effort the Maulers have put into planning this event on our behalf," Master Sergeant of the 908th Reserve David Henry said. "We hope this event will be a great success with the community having open arms to show appreciation to the reservists."
