Matt Mahoney, Michee Ngalina, Cam Lindley Named to USL Championship Team of the Week

Colorado Springs, CO - The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC and the USL Championship officially announced today that Matt Mahoney, Cam Lindley and Michee Ngalina have been named to the Team of the Week for Week 14 of the 2022 season, presented by Konami eFootball.

Matt Mahoney earned team of the week honors after he notching one assist and three key

passes, while completing 57 of 63 passes overall. He also recorded three interceptions in the Switchbacks' 3-1 victory against the LA Galaxy II.

Michee Ngalina had one assist, three shots and five chances created against Los Dos Saturday night. Additionally, he completed 26 of 28 passes overall and won 7 of 10 duels.

Cam Lindley scored the final goal for Saturday's match with a beautiful free kick, and created three other chances during the match. He completed 50 of 62 passes and won 3 of 3 duels and 2 of 2 tackles defensively.

The Switchbacks are now 10-2-0 in the league, putting them in the no.1 slot in the Western Conference for the seventh week since the 2022 campaign began. See the Switchbacks play Saturday, June 18th at home against Indy Eleven in a Father's Day match celebration.
