Oakland Roots host New Mexico United for the first time. The two sides have previously faced off twice in New Mexico with both games ending in draws. The most recent match between the two saw Roots defender Tarek Morad equalize in the 90th minute to steal a point for Oakland. Oakland is currently in the middle of a run that has seen the team lose only once in their last 13 games. Once again it is Happy Hour with 50% off all beverages at Laney all night.
