"We want to thank Lansing Catholic for hosting our match on such short notice," LIFC Vice President and General Manager Jeremy Sampson said, "as well as U.S. Soccer for its understanding and assistance in transitioning tonight's U.S. Open Cup match to a different venue."
The winning team will advance to the second round of the competition and compete against the USL Championship's Indy Eleven on May 14 or 15.
LIFC is coming off a 2-2 tie against the Richmond Kickers in USL League One play, as Ricky Lopez-Espin and Brandon Fricke scored the goals to secure a road point on Saturday.
