Vote for the LIFC Player of the Month - September/October

LANSING, Mich. - Lansing Ignite FC finished the 2019 USL League One regular season in second place, as numerous players helped the team secure home-field advantage for its semifinal match on Saturday, Oct. 12. Tumi Moshobane, Nick Moon, Pato Botello-Faz and Xavier Gomez are among the standouts from the the past month of action and have been nominated for LIFC Player of the Month honors.

You, the fans, will decide which player earns the award. Voting is permitted once per day until 12 p.m. ET on Friday, Oct. 11, with the winner announced that same day.

Tumi Moshobane, Midfielder - The South African talent continued to shine for LIFC, scoring four goals and creating three scoring chances to help Lansing secure second place in the league.

Nick Moon, Defender - The Wisconsin native scored two goals and created eight scoring chances in League One regular season play throughout September and October. On the defensive end, Moon recorded six interceptions, five clearances, three tackles and one blocked shot.

Pato Botello-Faz, Forward - The Mexican standout scored two goals and provided three assists in four League One matches throughout September and October, while also creating six scoring chances for the team.

Xavier Gomez, Midfielder - The Chicago native continued to be the heartbeat of the midfield, recording one assist and eight scoring chances. On the defensive end, Gomez recorded 12 tackles, two clearances and one blocked shot.
