October 11, 2019 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
Ottawa Fury FC News Release
OTTAWA - After clinching a historic playoff spot in the USL Championship, Fury FC will give their all for their fans one last time at home in regular season against the Bethlehem Steel FC, on Saturday, October 12 at 2pm. This will be the last family day of the season at TD Place Stadium.
Despite having their ticket for the post-season festivities already, Fury FC still has two big games to play and can still get six points to improve their ranking. Saturday's match is not only an opportunity for the club to continue their winning streak before heading into the playoffs, but also a last chance for Fury FC fans to see their team at home before the start of the playoffs. Up to now, Fury FC has had an incredible record at TD Place this season with a record of 10 wins, 2 losses and 4 draws.
This Saturday's opponent, Bethlehem Steel FC, is going through a difficult period and has not won in the last four games. Brendan Burke's side has conceded 72 goals in 31 games this season and scored 47. They might already be eliminated from the playoffs, however, Fury FC can't take Bethlehem Steel FC lightly. The Philadelphia Union's affiliate team has many young talents and has shown a lot of character throughout the season.
