Orlando City B News Release
ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando City B (1-3-1, 5 points) will host South Georgia Tormenta FC (1-3-2, 7 points) on Friday, Aug. 28 at Osceola County Stadium with kickoff set for 7 p.m. ET. The match, which is closed to fans, will be available to stream live on ESPN+.
Orlando City B enters Friday's match looking to bounce back from a 3-1 loss at Forward Madison on Aug. 23 where Mason Lamb, a product of the Orlando City Academy, made his professional debut and scored the solo goal for the Lions at Hart Park in Wisconsin. OCB forward Moises Tablante is currently tied for first in League One with a total of three assists and leads the Lions with 11 shots and seven chances created.
South Georgia sits in fifth place in the standings and comes into Friday's contest after earning a late comeback 2-1 win on the road against Chattanooga Red Wolves SC. Chattanooga opened the scoring first with Greg Hurst, but Marco Micaletto equalized from the penalty spot in the 79th minute. Just three minutes later, midfielder Luca Mayr scored the game winner from outside the box and secured the three points on the road.
Following Friday's match, Orlando City B will host a second straight home game on Thursday, Sep. 3 against North Texas SC at Osceola County Stadium with kickoff set for 7 p.m. ET.
