CARY, N.C. - North Carolina FC hosts the Northern Colorado Hailstorm for a midweek match up on Wednesday, July 26, at 7:00 PM ET at WakeMed Soccer Park. The Hailstorm are riding a 12-match unbeaten streak and sit atop the USL League One table with 35 points.

North Carolina FC faced Forward Madison in their last League One action, which ended in a 2-2 draw after a late NCFC rally to erase a two-goal halftime deficit. Oalex Anderson provided a brace, including the equalizer three minutes into stoppage time, with assists from Garrett McLaughlin and Raheem Somersall. North Carolina sits tied for fourth in the league table with 28 points and a record of 8-4-4.

Scouting Northern Colorado Hailstorm

Northern Colorado has taken USL League One by storm, undefeated in their last 12 games with only two draws in the stretch. Last week saw four Hailstorm players named to USL League One Team of the Week. They are also leading the league with 31 goals and eight clean sheets with eight. North Carolina FC will have their hands full with an intense Northern Colorado offense.

Players to Watch

North Carolina FC - Nelson Flores-Blanco

The North Carolina FC defender is one to watch during this midweek match up. Flores-Blanco is key to the NCFC defense and offense. As he has started in 11 of his 13 matches played, Flores-Blanco is pushing other teams to defend against him and try to beat him down the line. Flores-Blanco is also coming off international duty with El Salvador in the CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Northern Colorado Hailstorm- Forward Trevor Amann

The forward is leading the golden boot race in USL League One inthe closing days of July with 14 goals. He has also been named to the Team of the Week seven times this season. North Carolina FC faces Amann for the first time this season and the defense will have to be ready against the versatile attacker that can score from just about anywhere on the field.
