
Match Preview: Battery Heads to Pittsburgh and Dayton

Charleston, SC. The Charleston Battery heads to Pittsburgh PA Thursday for a 7 PM USL PRO match versus the Riverhounds. The Battery continues the road trip on Saturday night for an 8 PM match versus the Dayton Dutch Lions. Both games are available locally on 1340 AM as well as match at Dayton will be live on www.uslnation.com with the pre-game broadcast starting 15 minutes before kick off.
The Battery enters the game on the back of a 3-0 loss to Major League Soccer's New York Red Bulls in a third round Open Cup game played on Tuesday night at Blackbaud Stadium.
Charleston 's last USL PRO game was a 1-0 win over the LA Blues. The Battery (5-2) is in third position in USL PRO eight points behind the leading Orlando City Lions and five points behind second place Rochester; Charleston has played two games fewer than both sides.
The Charleston Battery will play a third road match on June 9 versus Orlando before heading back to Charleston on June 15 for its next home fixture against Antigua Barracuda F.C.
