ATLANTA -Atlanta United returns to action Wednesday when it travels to face D.C. United at Audi Field. The match is set to kick-off at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on MLS Season Passwhile fans can also tune-in to radio calls on 92.9 The Game and La Mejor.
MLS Season Pass features every match of the regular season and Audi MLS Cup Playoffs with consistent match times and no blackouts. The service also features MLS Countdown, the live pre-game show before every match, live halftime reports, MLS 360 -- a fast-moving whip-around show that will provide live look-ins and analysis from all the key moments from every match, and MLS Wrap-up, the live post-game show. All matches feature commentary in English or Spanish, while matches involving Canadian teams will also have French commentary. Fans in the U.S. and Canada also have the option to select their home team's radio for broadcast audio on the Apple TV app where available.
Atlanta holds a 9-6-0 all-time record against D.C. United in MLS regular season play: 6-1-0 at home and 3-5-0 on the road. Atlanta has won the last five meetings, including a 3-1 victory at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on June 10 earlier this season.
Thiago Almada set the club's single-season assist record with his 15th of the year in Atlanta's 5-2 victory over Inter Miami CF on Saturday.
Brooks Lennon recorded a goal and an assist against Miami, bringing his season tally to four goals and 10 assists, which are both career-highs. Lennon is the only American among the 10 players with at least 10 assists in MLS this season. He also leads all MLS defenders with 14 goal contributions. Caleb Wiley ranks tied for fifth among defenders with seven goal contributions.
Giorgos Giakoumakis is now tied for the most goals in MLS this season at 14 with five matches remaining.
Atlanta features two of the top-three players in MLS in goals per 90 minutes this season (min. 500 minutes). Giakoumakis leads MLS at .91 goals per 90 minutes, while Tyler Wolff ranks third at .78 after scoring his fifth goal on Saturday.
D.C. United heads into the match in the ninth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, coming off a 0-0 draw at Charlotte FC on Saturday, Sept 16. Wayne Rooney's side is 5-4-5 at home this season and has dropped just one of it's last five home matches.
