Fresno FC News Release

Despite extending its unbeaten streak to five matches, Fresno FC's most recent result - a 2-2 draw against Tulsa Roughnecks FC has the sting of a loss to head coach Adam Smith and the rest of the Foxes. Three points on Sunday against San Antonio FC would help heal the wounds as Fresno FC hopes to gain a more efficient consistency in its first season in the USL. The Foxes will face San Antonio for the first time this season, and will look to build on midfielder's Jemal Johnson's return to the midfield after sitting out Wednesday with a left abductor strain. The Manchester-raised star is tied with captain Juan Pablo Caffa and stellar substitute Rony Argueta in goals at two apiece. However, the area of concern will be at the back line which will be without center back Ramon Martin Del Campo who will is suspended after receiving a red card in Wednesday's draw. SAFC holds a 79.2% passing accuracy, which is the best rate among any opponent the Foxes have faced this year, but have only converted 9.3% of its chances compared to Fresno's 15.6. Making a return trip to Fresno is SAFC defender Cyprian Hedrick, who played three seasons (2009-11) with the PDL Fresno Fuego.
