Maryland Greenhawks Open Training Camp Tonight

ROCKVILLE, MD - Maryland GreenHawks General Manager Adam Dantus announced today that the team opened training camp last evening, Monday, December 14.
Hoop Magic, a state-of-the-art basketball facility located in Chantilly, VA will be the GreenHawks Official practice facility for training camp and practices throughout the season.
The GreenHawks are inviting 20 players to the eight day training camp and will trim the roster down to 12 by December 24, 2009. The GreenHawks will begin formal practice on December 28, 2009.
"I feel like everyone coming into camp has the caliber to be on a PBL roster and make a significant impact on the game," said Dantus. "Coach Spon and I both have very high expectations for this season and we expect a very competitive training camp."
The training camp schedule is as follows:
Monday, December 14: 9:00PM-11:00PM
Tuesday, December 15: 10:00PM-12:00AM
Wednesday, December 16: 9:00PM-11:00PM
Thursday, December 17: 10:00PM-12:00AM
Friday, December 18: 9:00PM-11:00PM
Monday, December 21: 9:00PM-11:00PM
Tuesday, December 22: 10:00PM-12:00AM
Wednesday, December 23: 9:00PM-12:00AM

Guards (11): Byron Mouton (6'6" - University of Maryland), Lou White (6'4" - Voorhees College), Demetrius Howard (6'5" - Augusta State University), Anthony Williams (6'2" - Pfeiffer University), Dele Ojo (6'0" - Pfeiffer University), Kenny Burkes (6'0" - CW Post), Terrance Mouton (6'0" - Rider University), Scooter Sherrill (6'3" - NC State), Joe Posey (6'5" - Southern Polytechnic State), Johan Matos (6'0" - Montgomery College), Tavares Cooper (6'3" - Pfeiffer University)

The GreenHawks open the 2010 PBL regular season in Puerto Rico on Saturday, January 2nd. The GreenHawks first home game is on January 16th at 7:00PM where they will play host to the Buffalo Stampede.
