February 19, 2018 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Toronto Marlies News Release

The Toronto Marlies will be spending Family Day at Air Canada Centre this afternoon as they prepare to take on the visiting Hershey Bears.

It's the third of four Air Canada Centre series games this season and will be the closing event of Leafs Nation Winter Week presented by Rogers.

The Marlies (38-12-0-1) enter the game after a come-from-behind victory over Laval on Saturday night, and have won eight of their past ten.

Hershey (21-25-3-4) is riding a three-game winning streak, all of which came against North Division opponents. Most recently, the Bears beat Belleville 3-0 on Saturday.

It's the second and final game between the two sides this season, with the Marlies winning the first meeting 4-1 back in November.

Andreas Johnsson has been a key part of the Marlies offense, as he leads the team in both goals (23) and points (26). He's earned a point in eight straight games, totalling 17 points (6G, 11A) over that span.

Miro Aaltonen has also been on a roll of late, recording 10 points (5G, 5A) in his last six games. Kerby Rychel is averaging a point-per-game in his last six outings, with two goals and four assists in that time.

Chris Bourque leads the Bears offensively, with 12 goals and 45 points on the season, while Travis Boyd has also cracked the 40-point mark with 14 goals and 26 assists.

Puck drop for today's game is scheduled for 3:00 and limited tickets are available. Fans can also tune in on Leafs Nation Network and AHL Live.
