Miami, FL. - The Miami Football Club announced today the transfer of defender Mark Segbers to USL Championship's Charleston Battery. Per club policy, terms of the transfer will not be disclosed.
Signed in December of 2021, Segbers played for the duration 2022 season and continued with the team for the 2023 season. During his time at Miami FC, Segbers continued to develop as a player making significant contributions to the team with 69 appearances, 2 goals and 6 assists for the club.
Reaching 150 appearances in the USL Championship while at Miami FC and tallying 5669 minutes played, Mark Segbers impacted the back line with his strength and defensive efforts.
The club would like to thank Segbers for his contributions on and off the field, while also wishing him all the best at his new club.
