Tampa, Fla. - The Florida State League named Tampa Yankees Outfielder Mark Payton Player of the Week today. This honor was for games played April 19 - 25, 2016. Â
Payton played in six (6) games and collected 7 hits in 18 at bats for a .389 batting average. He had two (2) homeruns, one (1) double, scored four (4) times, with nine (9) RBI's. His OBP was .520 and his slugging percentage was .778.
This is the third year of professional baseball for the 2014 First-Year Player Draft pick (7th round) from Orland Park, Illinois.
