
Marcus Brady signs with Renegades

ROME, Ga. - The Rome Renegades have signed Quarterback Marcus Brady for the 2006 American Indoor Football League season. Brady, 6-0; 210 pounds, brings four years of professional football experience to the Renegades. Brady has spent the last four seasons in the Canadian Football League(CFL), 2002-2003 with the Toronto Argonauts and 2004-2005 with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Last season, with the Tiger-Cats, Brady played in 18 games and had 843 yards passing and five touchdowns, as well as 16 carries for 109 yards and a touchdown. Prior to playing in the CFL, Brady was a four year starter at Cal State-Northridge. While playing for the Matadors, Brady had 1,677 pass attempts; 1,036 pass completions (which is a NCAA Division I-AA record) for a total of 12,445 yards and 109 touchdowns, all of which are Cal State-Northridge records. He also had 436 carries totaling 648 and 15 touchdowns. Brady is originally from San Diego, California where he attended Samuel F.B. Morse High School.
