
Marc Davis Earns Carolina League Pitcher of the Week Honor

FREDERICKSBURG - Minor League Baseball announced this afternoon that RHP Marc Davis has been named the Carolina League Pitcher of the Week.
Davis twirled five shutout innings of relief work for the FredNats in Myrtle Beach. He did not surrender a hit all week. Davis put together two scoreless and hitless innings on June 15. He followed that up with a perfect three inning performance on June 19 in which he faced nine and set all nine aside. He struck out two in five innings without allowing a walk.
The righty from Lilburn, Georgia owns a 2.25 ERA in five appearances with the FredNats this year. He was selected in the 11th round of the 2021 MLB Draft by the Washington Nationals out of Florida Southwestern Junior College.
