Bradenton, FL - The Bradenton Marauders (11-14) went blow for blow with the St. Lucie Mets (14-11) and emerged with an 11-6 win on Monday night at McKechnie Field. The Marauders scored in seven straight innings while digging out of a 3-0 hole. RHP Austin Coley (W, 3-2) struck out six and retired the final nine men he faced after surrendering three runs on five hits in the second inning.
2B Kevin Kramer moved down the seven spot in the lineup and responded in a big way. The UCLA product drove in four and crushed his first career home run, a three-run shot in the seventh.
Five different Marauders had multi-hit games.
UP NEXT: The Marauders play game two of the series against the St. Lucie Mets... First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m..... RHP Alex McRae will make his sixth start for the Marauders... He will be opposed by RHP Chris Flexen.
